Here is a price list of market values and a scale of 1-10 for the Best Vespas to own (ONE not being a Vespa scooter, but maybe a Ciao moped missing the pedels. TEN being a mint condition 90SS, although all Vespas Scooters are 10 in my book, but some are better to own then others).

This list is just a good estimate of what your Vespa scooter is worth, values do vary world wide and this is mostly for the US market. We assume no responsibility for errors, omissions or anything else from the use of this list.

Prices based on clean, straight, (free of any server body damage) and fully reconditioned units or great original condition units, ready for use with acceptable mileage. Top of the scale is for exceptionally clean, low mileage vehicles or fully restore scooters. There are always ones that are above exceptionally restored condition, custom, or new original (N.O.S.) that name there own price. (No basket cases listed, they are always $300-$1,200 tops and never 95% complete, more like 50%-75%).

One extra point is to watch out for restored Vespas from Asia*. Many of these so called "restored Vespas" are 2 scooter hales welded together and mostly filed with Bondo, Coke can shims, and either home made parts or at best new parts from India (not to say everyone of them is bad, just 99% of them). These Vespas values are worthless and many times more trouble then they are worth. (not even worth the $200 they pay for them in Asia). *And by Asia I mostly mean Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, and India.
Disclaimer: his is just our professional opinion, I'm sure the people selling them think they are great (and maybe a few are).

VSE1M: There were 41274 Rally 200s made starting with VSE1M*001001* so I assumed the P200E engine numbers start at VSE1M*42275*. There was a large jump in numbers between the P200 and PX200 so I returned the motor numbers to matching the frame numbers from the PX200 on.
